We had a wonderfull stay with Bandula and his family. The rooms are nice, especially the new ones and the food is great. Take a tour to Sinharaja with Bandula. He knows literally everything. Take a walk through Deniyaya and the rice paddies, it's a lovely scenery

Bandula was an excellent host and is very passionate about the rainforest. He was an amazing guide and was able to spot animals that we would have never seen Without him. His knowledge of the local flora and fauna was amazing and we loved our hike complete with lunch and a swim at the bottom of the waterfall. The home cooking was amazing and the rooms are very comfortable.

Super location, lots of wildlife. Bandula, our host is a great character, a biologist who gave us an excellent tour of the rainforest where we saw a viper and 3 types of Lizard, giant squirrel and eagles and kingfishers. We had a heavenly swim at a waterfall and then the heavens opened for an exciting walk back! Bandula's wife is an amazing cook and we had some exeptional Sri Lankan cuisine! We stayed 2 nights, wish it could have been longer! Great ambience! Would recommend it!!

We found this place by accident but it was one of the nicest stay in whole Sri lanka. Bandula, man of the house is a great guide-biologist, who will show you absolutely everything in Sinharaja- rain forest. His wife is amazing cook, so it's definately worth to ask them for dinner and breakfast. They put so much effort to show you, what they have best in their cuisine. They were also very helpful with any other doubts concerning our travelling in Sri lanka.

The location is excellent and feels very homely. The home cooked meals cooked by Mr. Bandulla's wife are delicious and you have the option of requesting what you would like to eat. Hikes through the rainforest are made especially interesting with Mr. Bandulla as your guide as his knowledge of the flora and fauna is remarkable.

Bandula and his wife are amazing hosts. They really took care of us, especially with wonderful home-made food. The rooms are ok for price/value, would need some renovation work though. The jungle hike with Bandula was simply amazing. He is a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge about trees and animals - and he spots every bugs and small lizards! We had a wonderful, adventurous hike, sighting snakes and other animals. Unlike other groups we met, Bandula took us on the long and exciting trail, and we ended up with a fish therapy by the waterfall and a swim in the river. Bandula is highly recommended for an unforgettable day in the jungle!

We went with Bandula to the rainforest and he was so great! Explained everything to us and full of knowledge! We had good food and the rooms were just what we expected! Overall a great time and would go again! Thankyou so much for a good time, the 5 of us all really enjoyed it!

We had two wonderful days in Deniyaya with Bandula and his family. On the first night Bandula took us with him to a Buddhist ceremony in a tea factory nearby. There were monks chanting and praying all night. On the next day headed for Sinharaja rainforest with Bandula. He is an excellent guide and knows the place very well. We could see lizards, birds and snakes. The day was definitely one of the most memorable of our whole trip. The food was delicious, especially the "curd with palm honey"
